I am so grateful for the people that have started the Pop Up Story Walk in our area. We went to read The Bear and the Piano at Brightwater today.
It was the perfect thing for my new readers to practice reading while having breaks to run down the trail and be outside in nature! They couldn't
wait to get to the next sign. The bears at the beginning and end were such a nice addition that delighted my children. Thank you! -Katherine T.

How does the storywalk work?
-PopUp Storywalk is installed along a trail or sidewalk edge. The story boards are placed into metal frames. You will walk along the trail or path and read the story, page by page, as you follow the path.
Do we have to buy the book and bring it to the walk?
-Nope, all you need to bring are your walking feet! The story is printed on large boards and attached to a frame that is installed into the ground. You will follow the path and read the story along the way.
How long is the walk?
-The storywalk is typically around a half mile walk. It takes most families 30-45 minutes to complete the storywalk.
What frames do you use?
-Metal H 18”h x 24”w bolt in signs ordered through our local printer
What material are the storyboards made out of?
-Correx. Correx signs are impact resistant and made from durable double-walled fluted polypropylene. The material is rigid, colourfast and waterproof.
Do you get permissions from the publisher to use the book?
-Yes, we work directly with publishers to get the pdf files for the books so we can print them on our signage.
Where are you located/are you in my area?
-We are located in Washington State and offer installs in the Seattle, Eastside, South Seattle areas. We mainly popup around the Seattle, Kenmore, Kirkland, Redmond, Bothell, Woodinville, Sammamish, Issaquah, and Renton area. We do offer a travel kit that can be shipped to you.
